The annual spring meeting is being hosted by Bluegrass Community and Technical College on Saturday 11 March 2017.

The annual fall meeting is held in conjuction with the Kentucky Academy of Science meeting. The 2017 KAS meeting is November 4 at the Murray State University.

2017 Summer Meeting of the American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT): July 22-26, 2017 at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center, Covington, KY. The abstract submission deadline for contributed oral or poster presentation is February 23, and late abstract deadline is May 11. www.aapt.org/Conferences/sm2017/abstractsubpage.cfm.

Every KAPT meeting will include physics workshops that can count as professional development for middle and high school science teachers. The KAPT vice-president for high schools, Mr. Joseph Mahler of Sayre School in Lexington, will be organizing these workshop opportunities.
