C23 Light Curve
Congratulations! This Cepheid was really tough to find. Ferrarese
et al. (1996) named this Cepheid C23. Below is their plot of
C23's light curve.
On Part I, Section B of your lab sheet, record the name of the
Cepheid, its grid section number (61), its average apparent V magnitude
(mv), and its period
(P). (Careful: the numbers decrease going up the vertical axis!)
When you're done, return to the main grid section
61 page, or return to the main
WF4 8x8 grid. There are no other known Cepheids in this grid
section.
