WKU is hosting an observing night tonight (8\/30\/23) for a rare lunar event where we have a full blue moon at perigee (closest distance to the Earth).  At 8pm, we&#8217;ll be meeting in Kelly Thompson Hall&#8217;s 1st floor lobby and going up to the rooftop where you&#8217;ll have the chance to look through an observatory telescope, see a bright full moon and Saturn&#8217;s rings, and enjoy conversing with astronomers, amateur and professional alike!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello all!
