Welcome to the website for Western Kentucky University's Bell Observatory.  The Bell Observatory is located 12 miles west of Bowling Green, Kentucky and is currently the largest optical telescope in the state.  Bell Observatory houses a 0.6m telescope that WKU astronomers use in several different research campaigns.  The research is conducted by WKU faculty, staff and student observers.
